1Scope
This standard defines the classification of test results for completely assembled windows and doors of any material after testing in accordance with prEN 1027 “Windows and doors – Watertightness – Test method”.

3Definitions
For the purposes of this European Standard the definitions given in prEN 12519 and in prEN 1027 apply.
4Classification
PrEN 1027 descibes a method of test to determine the limit of watertightess Pmax of the test specimen.
Clasification fllows from those results as given in the Table 1.
NOTE : This casification can be used with other relevant standards or codes of practice and can thus be used to provide correlation with actual exposure requirements.
4.1 Specimens that allow water penetration at zero test pressure before the expiration of 15 min cannot be classified.
4.2 Specimens that are watertight to test pressures greater than 600 Pa for a minimum of 5 min shall be classified Exox, where xx is that maximum test pressure (e.g. 750, 900).
